TMG Managers and Project Coordinators: Demonstrated Leaders and Active Professionals
TMG appoints a team to manage clients on a day-to-day
basis. The team is headed by a senior management representative who
oversees the overall relationship and ensures that the full value of
TMG’s experience is being delivered to each client. The named principal
attends at least one client event per year and participates in the
annual performance review.
TMG appoints an experienced manager to act as the
client’s Account Executive. This individual coordinates the delivery of
all TMG services and personnel to the client. This individual works with
the Officers, Board and Committee Chairs.
An experienced Meeting Manager is assigned to plan and
manage conferences. This manager develops and maximizes this revenue
source for clients working with volunteers and the management team.
Administrative Assistants support each of these executives. All are named and known to the membership at large.
Accounting, membership, registration and reception
personnel also join the team to complete the staffing for clients. In
all, on a given day up to 15 people are involved in providing service to
each TMG client.
TMG values each of our managers and project
coordinators on staff. Some of these managers have risen through the
ranks of TMG to become the specialists they are today. Headquarter
managers are members of the American Society for Association Executives
and other professional groups, and each takes a leadership role in those
groups. Our meeting professionals are also involved in their
professional societies, such as the Professional Convention Management
Association and Meeting Planners International.
Support Staff: Professionally Developed to Better Serve
The professional development of everyone on the TMG
team is critical to our success. As new support team members grow in
their knowledge and experience, they are given the opportunity to
advance in the organization to enhance their service to clients and grow
professionally.
TMG recognizes the need for its staff to remain current
in the association community. Our professional affiliations include:
the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE); the AMC
Institute (formerly the International Association of Association
Management Companies (IAAMC)); the International Association of
Exhibitions and Exhibits (IAEE); Meeting Professionals International
(MPI); and the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA).
