iMIS Specialist

We have an immediate opening for an organized, innovative professional to join our IT Team as an iMIS Specialist.  This position includes the responsibility for all aspects of implementation and maintenance projects related to deployment and support of TMG’s iMIS and Van Go solutions.  To succeed, candidates must thrive in fast paced environments, work well on teams and be highly motivated to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

iMIS

• General database administration and management
• Implementations/Conversions from MSDE, SQL and LAN environments
• Installations and setup of new iMIS workstations including ODBC setting configurations
• System upgrades and maintenance
• Advanced reporting and views setup using iMIS and Crystal Reports

Web Development using VanGo

Project Management

General IT

Qualified candidates must possess the following:

• Minimum BS degree in Computer Science or related field
• At least 5 years experience in an similar position
• Formal training in database management
• Experience designing, creating, and administrating iMIS and VAnGo solutions
• Extensive experience with Crystal Reports or similar software
• Experience in SQL server administration including use of Query tools
• Experience in Web Site development
• Extensive experience with MS Access
• Excellent project management Skills
• Strong knowledge of industry Best Practices (IT and Software Development environments)
• Experience in software/project design techniques and methodologies
• Effective ability to communicate well (written and verbal) with all levels both within and outside TMG.
• Extensive Microsoft Office Experience
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet required deadlines
• Ability to make clear, concise, and effective presentations
• Ability to establish effective relationships with diverse personalities
• Strong Team player
• High attention to detail
• Creative thinker
