Ashley Duffy, CMP, MTA, DES
As a meeting manager at Talley Management Group, Inc., Ms. Duffy has an integral role working directly with program chairs, contractors, and vendors to plan and execute various meetings and conferences. Her involvement with clients allows her to gain hands-on experience in a variety of important areas, including contract negotiations, building registration and abstract databases, volunteer management, and meeting proceedings. Events range from 10 to 3,000 attendees, 15 to 40 exhibitors, and 10 to 700 sessions. In 2017, Ashley achieved her Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation, a designation issued by the Events Industry Council (EIC), certifying individuals through an internationally recognized certification program that evaluates the competency of meeting professionals. Ashley completed the Digital Event Strategist (DES) Certification from the Professional Convention Management Association’s (PCMA) Digital Experience Institute (DEI) in 2020. The DES certification is designed to help recipients effectively plan, produce, and measure the results of live stream and digital engagement events.
Ashley graduated from East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science in recreation and leisure services management, with a concentration in commercial recreation. She received her Master of Tourism Administration in event and meeting management at The George Washington University Graduate School of Business.
In her spare time, she enjoys craft projects, watching Philly sports teams, and going down the shore.
